When I load the game the 'press start' screen is black and has no music, but it passes when I press start anyway so its not a major problem. However, when I go in-game there are missing textures/walls and when I finish the first mission the screen just goes black, no matter what buttons I push or how long I wait.

Btw, I'm running the Windows version (v0.7.6-741-gdde85e5) and have tried various settings. The FPS is a constant 60.

It's not so much missing textures but bad camera clipping ( or something ), because at certain angles the texture is visible.

Kinda like with PSP2 #1788

Just an update: It is now possible to play through the first mission without getting stuck at any black screens. The graphics problem remains though.

Aha - I bet I know what's going on here. It's using splines to subdivide large surface when they are close to the camera, which helps the PSP's terrible clipper to do the right thing. It looks right even if we don't do splines right, because it doesn't use them for the curve ability.
