Node 8 has been EOL since 2019 🤯 We feel it’s finally time to let it go. By dropping support for Node 8, we can upgrade the following dependencies:

babel-jest: Bump babel-jest from 24.9.0 to 27.0.2 #139
rollup: Bump rollup from 1.32.1 to 2.50.5 #138
jest: Bump jest from 24.9.0 to 27.0.3 #137

We are planning on dropping support in an upcoming major release.
