Description

HMS recently moved to an identity provider for authentication. New users cannot view experiments that have been shared with them.

The current implementation of getUser calls cognitoISP.adminGetUser to retrieve user attributes using either the users email (in createUserInvite) or the users id (in getExperimentUsers) as the Username property. This use of adminGetUser only works for email and phone based sign-ups, not IDP based sign-ups. See comments on this SO answer describing exactly this.

The solution is to use cognitoISP.listUsers with an appropriate filter, which is a general solution that works for both IDP and email based sign-ups.
