Reporting way too high fan speed on my 2020 MacBook Pro (10th gen i5) #107

The program shows an insanely high RPM (see added image). The sliders for setting minimum fan speed also doesn't work, they are stuck at the lowest setting.

Same with 2020 iMac i9, although the slider does move visually it has no effect on the fan

+1 same for me.
Pro 13, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, 16gb,
Just upgraded to Big Sur 11.1 but was doing the same on 10.14
Read alsorted of thread, reset NVRAM and SMC just to be sure, no different
This is the only thread I can find that is discussing this issue though???
Guessing no one has got any further with it?
