Overview

We need to document the resources from the previous UX research projects in order to create templates to use again in subsequent rounds of research and avoid repeating research projects.

Action Items

  • Add each document from the Wiki to the resources below
  • Create HfLA website UX research audit spreadsheet (add it to the resouces below)
    • Make a tab to annotate all the resources from wiki
    • Make a tab for research plan. Include:
      • research project type or project name
      • if a research plan exists for the project
      • whether any data been collected for this project
      • methods used on the project
      • remaining work to be done on the project
      • if the project completed
        • if completed, any existing artifacts (personas, user journeys, scenarios, etc)
  • Create templates/protocols based on existing research plans of completed research
  • create list of partially completed projects so that new issues can be generated from them
  • release dependency on Create interview guides for each type of user interview #2529

Progress: Creating an Excel Sheet of all the existing UX research on a website redesign
Blockers: Large amount of data to parse through in order to distill relevant information. Not a blocker really but more of a challenge.
Availability: 6-7 hours
ETA: By Jan 6
Pictures: "Add any pictures of the visual changes made to the site so far."

Please add update using the below template (even if you have a pull request). Afterwards, remove the 'To Update !' label and add the 'Status: Updated' label.

  1. Progress: "What is the current status of your project? What have you completed and what is left to do?"
  2. Blockers: "Difficulties or errors encountered."
  3. Availability: "How much time will you have this week to work on this issue?"
  4. ETA: "When do you expect this issue to be completed?"
  5. Pictures: "Add any pictures of the visual changes made to the site so far."

If you need help, be sure to either: 1) place your issue in the developer meeting discussion column and ask for help at your next meeting, 2) put a "Status: Help Wanted" label on your issue and pull request, or 3) put up a request for assistance on the #hfla-site channel.

Hi Simone,
My grandfather is unwell back home in India and is in the hospital. I have not been doing well emotionally and needed to take some time off to be with my family virtually. Have kept sometime before the meeting today to update the audit google sheet and the issue here. Thanks for the reminder.
