Overview

We need a Glossary to explain various terms used in the creation of guides.

Special Note

A guide you are writing might contain a word that appears only in that guide. The definition for that word, should be contained in the guide itself. This glossary is specifically for words that appear in the Guidance on how to work on guides.

Action Items

  • Add terms as necessary to comments below. Please include
    • The Word
    • Where you found it, with a link to find it again (so we have context)
    • Anything else you want to us to know

I think the word "Triage" should be added to the glossary.

After clicking the “Guides Tracker” hyperlink it takes you to the GitHub page and the 1st column is “Needs to be triaged”, this isn’t part of the presentation but I believe adding the word [triage] and it’s meaning into the glossary could be useful for other.

Revise the word practitioners to be practitioner and to the definition. At Hack for LA we mean: A person who has experience using the process or practice here
