WARNING: to get the source version

  • be sure to download the FaustLive-2.5.10.tar.gz file to get a complete source folder (in particular, with all the libraries)

  • the macOS binary is still not signed. On Apple Silicon, you can simply open it under Rosetta: right-click the first time then normal open later on

Change log:

  • integrates Faust compiler version 2.40.5, solving an incorrect optimisation bug
  • based on LLVM 14.0.1 on OS X and 10.0.0 on Windows
  • on OS X, the binary works starting from OS 10.12

Known issues:

  • Http control (using the 'Window/View QRCode' menu item) is sometimes buggy
  • DSPs using the 'soundfile' primitive cannot be exported on the remote compilation service
  • Most menus disappear after all windows closed. You can always go to "About FaustLive", then open a "New default Window".
