Creating a time series with multiple lines

Hello!

I wanted to know if there's some way to create a time series with multiple lines, where each line is discriminated by the value of a given field. For example, let's say I have columns like the below ones:

The result look like this

I wanted to create a line for each possible value of metric, using value as my Y-Axis and time as my X-Axis.

The only way I could achieve this so far was adding multiple queries, one for each possible value of metric, but if a new one appears but this is not ideal, as a new rute can appear and I'll have to change every visualization that needs to show it. If the line is automatically created based on a given field, then the visualization will revolve it by itself.

Something like this is possible, for example, using the SQL Server plugin: if I create a query using fields with these exact names: time, metric and value, it automatically create a line for each metric value.

If anyone knows how can I achieve this it'll be very helpful!

For those with the same doubt as mine, I could achieve this using the transformation "prepare time series"

With the second option.

This is really good enough, if there's no way to do it only with the plugin, unless there's interest to make it simpler to do it, I don't think any change would be necessary.
