Issue description

a line in the middle of the editor remains even if the minimap was deactivated and do not disturb (no distraction) mode is activated

This is intended. The line length guideline is enabled by default since Godot 3.2. This faint line represents the guideline that you should not exceed to keep your scripts readable.

You can remove this line length guideline by unchecking Show Line Length Guideline in the Editor Settings:

In 4.0, there are two line length guidelines drawn by default: a subtle "soft" guideline and a more visible "hard" guideline. This is because sometimes, you may have to break the soft guideline, but you don't want to break the hard guideline no matter what.
