Divine Window FAQ

Divine Window is a fairly easy add-on, however, some parts may need a little explanation. Following questions may help you use Divine Window better.

I see an empty window, even after I've set-up my spells

An empty window may mean that you did not install any of additional windows. By default, Divine Window does not come with any windows for now. See the answer below.

Why can't I select any window?

That's correct! As the image format of World of Warcraft (.BLP-files), are uncompressed and is quite large, there are no default windows. You should install one of the available packages for Divine Window, so you don't have to download tons.

Check out these window packages:

Divine Window or additional add-ons are quite large in download size, can this hurt performance?

The images are uncompressed, unlike what you're perhaps used from using JPEG or PNGs files. While there are many, there only a few of them loaded at the same time. As the add-on is not heavy on processing power, just image heavy, it won't take a chunk your memory or game performace. If you work with addons like DBM or WeakAuras, which are much heavier on the computations, you should be more than fine, as this addOn is much lighter.

What are the numbers behind the name of the window parts?

The numbers represent the amount of variation this animation has. Some simply are not interesting enough to make more states. In example: A moon in the sky is quite a 'simple' object. It could be either on or off, or a few intermediate states. On the contrary, the background of Sally Whitemane, in the Divine Window: Enemies of Warcraft download, has over 60 states.

Somebody told me, there are secret windows to unlock. How can I get them?

Did they tell you that? Really? hmmmm....
