George I was unable to import the previous version into the add-on builder version 3.0.1
I re-created the add-on, but I then found that once I re-install the add on builder I cannot import the newly created add on, from what I can see that's a bug in the add on builder looking for directories that no longer exist in the new versions
I have tested the alert action against localhost and confirmed this works as expected
In terms of your code I have made very few changes, however thousands of files changed related to the add-on builder
My testing was only on Splunk 8.0.4.1 FYI
