I think this is good to go now. You can check the state of the documentation in this PR here: Main changes are the CIG logo in the bottom left. Apart from that this PR mainly exposes some optional settings for the documentation we could change if we want to later. |

I am working on improving some minor things in the new doc layout. Please do not merge until I give the ok, I mostly open this PR to see if readthedocs can build it.
