maintenance stuff:

  • updates all dependencies to most recent (though flask-restx is buggy atm)
  • updates the tests to reflect some api changes
  • remove previous commits as tests were otherwise failing
  • remove yapf and replace with black and flake8 which is much more robust

bug fixes:

I'll merge this so the actual bug fixes won't be drowning in all the linter changes.
