Shelter is important for everyone and in this course, students will survey different kinds of shelters appropriate for different environments. Basic survival shelter construction for their environment will be taught as well as other, more sophisticated techniques. This may be combined with community service to determine ancient and modern methods to create affordable, yet effective shelters in a variety of habitats.
