Btw I noticed that the tag version and the version on PyPI are both 0.0.1, but we had 0.1.0 in setup.py, we should make sure that these are consistent going forward

Once #26 is merged, this is unblocked and we can do a release - @kushaldas want to do this? Note that while the bugfix described in #26 needs to be part of 0.0.2, it does not need to be described in the changelog, as it is a bug that was introduced in master but was not a part of any release.
