Supported firmware versions
Supported firmware versions
- V01.00.0606
- V01.00.0608 - latest, required on air side for Runcam Wasp compatibility
Older versions may or may not work. It is safe to simply upgrade to the latest firmware using DJI FPV Assistant 2.
The following applies to rooting the V2 Goggles. You will need to be on one of these versions in order to root. After doing so you may update your firmware via DJI Assistant prior to installing wtfos for Avata/O3 AU compatability.
On V2 Goggles you must check the firmware version via the Assistant or the DJI FPV Drone mode menus. The DJI Digital FPV System a.k.a. "DIY mode" menus lie and always show V01.00.0606 at most, despite the actual firmware installed.
Supported firmware versions for rooting
- V01.00.0606 - latest DIY mode firmware, recommended
- V01.02.0000 *
- V01.02.0001 *
* known to work, but subtle issues may occur
All other versions can be downgraded to V01.00.0606 using butter. After rooting and prior to installing wtfos you may upgrade to the latest version using DJI Assistant.
Stay tuned.
