• Is HiPiler the same as HiGlass?

  No. HiPiler is a separate application that integrates HiGlass. While HiGlass focuses on efficient visualization and navigation of entire Hi-C maps and other 1D tracks, HiPiler's strength is comparing many small regions of interest in the context of large Hi-C maps. Having said that, both might eventually merge in the future.

• Which browsers are supported?

  HiPiler is tested in and supports the last two versions of Chrome and Firefox. In Safari there is a bug when running t-SNE in a separate worker; until we have fixed this issue HiPiler does not support Safari unfortunately.

• Firefox starts searching when use keyboard shortcuts

  I know, it can be annoying. but you can disable that behavior! Go to Tools > Options > Advanced > General Tab and disable Search for text when I start typing.

• Do you guys prefix every app name with Hi? 🙈

  Oh yes we do!
