This 3d printed model was created out of the necessity of being able to have a two USB cables join without exposing the join, such as interconnected male to female USB devices like a keyboard & mouse and USB extender.

This device is more of an anti-tamper than a fully fledged bomb-proof locking mechanism, a hammer or heavy boot could gain access.

The usb cables are place in side and then the container is sealed with a cable seal such as this one or this one through the insert.

Technical notes.

• Material - ABS, other materials could be used.
• Printer - Fused Filament Fabrication, other printing methods could be used.
• This device presents is straightforward to print - no support material needs to be used as any holes are small.
