What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Adding support for ftp, sftp, S3, box, and other protocols

Requirements

  • Adding a wizard to make a user-friendly process to add custom drives, this will accomplish the UI for this.
  • Making it possible to mount other drives as network drives, this will make it easier to implement, as you can then just mount it as a drive
  • Adding sync icons, and thumbnails

FTP (You can type ftp://"IP" into the path or map a network drive) and Box is already supported. You can see the available ones here https://files.community/docs/configuring/cloud-drives. SFTP is being tracked here #2407
