Team Internet, get ready— this is the Battle for the Net.

Internet users from across the political spectrum are uniting to defend the strong net neutrality rules we all worked so hard to win in 2014, we are Team Internet.

This post includes resources for organizations and people to help spread the word, educate your audience, and engage your base in the fight for the future of our Internet freedom. Feel free to tailor any of these materials to make them more relevant to your audience.

If you’ve told us you’re joining Team Internet, great! Now tell the world on social media and in a blog post, or through whatever other channels you can use to reach your audience.

If you create new graphics that other groups can use, have great ideas to share, or want to join Team Internet, let us know: [email protected]

We need everyone’s help right now to make this huge. Here’s what you can do to help Team Internet prepare for the Battle for the Net:

1. Release a public statement in support of existing net neutrality rules.

2. Participate in the Battle for the Net day of action (TBA, likely mid-July)

3. Send an email to your list with an ask to email (and/or call) the FCC and Congress.

4. Post to social media throughout the campaign (through August).

5. Join an internal strategy email list and/or weekly calls.
