Summary

What we are after:
We're going to move the Policy Page (https://transition.fec.gov/law/policy.shtml). First step is to talk with OGC Policy and prepare a draft.

Related issues

#3220 - Initial conversation with OGC and decision-making
#3213 (need to find good home for DSP/Admin Term page)
#3954, #3955, #3956 (Migration of related policy comment pages that will be linked on this one)

Completion criteria

  • OGC Policy (Joanna) contacted and reaffirmed they are good with this plan: Prepare for migrating the policy page to Wagtail #3220 (comment)
  • OGC consulted and decision made about what to do about older dead policy initiatives - should they be moved to an archive page?( If so, put in ticket for that work)
  • Word document prepped to organize page content into Sections (to prep for becoming a Resource Page)
  • Word document circulated to content team
  • Word document circulated next to Policy for their review.

Future work

Step two: After Policy returns comments, we'll move on to creating the page in Wagtail in #4030 . In meantime, we'll upload PDFs in #4029

We had a great meeting with OGC Policy today. For now, we'll migrate page exactly as is. We'll want to improve some things and maybe move some things in the future, and will put in tickets for that work in the future. We're ready to move on to #4029 now.
