Summary

What we are after:
We would like to bring the policy page at https://transition.fec.gov/law/policy.shtml into Wagtail as part of our effort to get off transition.

Completion criteria

  • Have a conversation with Policy about how to organize the sections (What to do about older dead policy initiatives - should they be moved to an archive page? If so, put in ticket for that work)
  • Do a word document to organize page content and circulate to content team and Policy
  • Create the page as child page of legal resources, with a resource page template
  • Second pair of eyes before publishing
  • Publish the page
  • Remove redirect that was put in place in 10.4 for the breadcrumb link to Policy and Other Guidance.
  • Update the links on enforcement pages (some may be hard coded)
  • Add page and any PDFs uploaded to redirect spreadsheet

Closing this ticket. We've decided to focus on the new guidance page.

Reopening but for use in PI13 when we tackle this.

This ticket is too big. I've split it into three tickets:

#4028: Drafting
#4029: Moving the many PDFs
#4030: Publishing the new page

Closing in favor of these tickets.
