Reporting examples: Round 2 drafts

To help PACs and party committees understand how to report campaign finance transactions, we will draft and post reporting examples that will go with the nonconnected, SSF, and party sections within Help for Candidates and Committees.

This covers creating the language in the 2nd round of reporting examples.

Completion criteria

• Identify no more than 10 examples to include in the next sprint.
• Draft example (language only) using existing campaign guides.
• Draft image caption language when possible.
• Find links for FECFile videos, FECFile getting started manuals, and other resources to be included with the example.

We're planning to tackle the rest of the disbursement examples and then move to registering committees. I'll divide the topics into SSF-only, Nonconnected-only and shared once we start drafting.

• Earmarks (B, or just A & B?)
• Travel advances
• Staff advances
• Statement of organization
