Should there be a discussion of themeConfig in this section?

Also, if this should be more focused on the theme and plugin options themselves, the first two examples could be removed.

Hi Kate thank you for working on this, looks great!

Should there be a discussion of themeConfig in this section?

Regarding themeConfig, I think we should actually include this in this doc because it's a root level config in docusaurus.config.js, preset classic reads directly from that field as well, apart from what is passed down in opts. Also, since the themeConfig actually relates to some of the essential meta data information that most sites would need, I think we should have a separate section explaining what it does. But we can do that in a separate PR to keep the scopes small.

Also, if this should be more focused on the theme and plugin options themselves, the first two examples could be removed.

I think the progression you have on the theme & plugin options leading up to the preset configs are good. Let's keep all we have here.
