BUILDING:
To build for the host currently on:
 $ make -f Makefile.hostexample
 . Note: see the make recipe 'src/dcstad' to link static vs shared

To re-generate autoconf files:
 $ ./autogen.sh
 . Note: this was originally done on Ubuntu 14.04.5
