Why do you think a privacy degradation is sensible?

Basic tracking on a website to get insight on audience and usage is useful and hardly unheard of. The documentation is still available in git as markdown, you can run hugo server locally for the same experience otherwise. (-: Cheers.

Feel free to use privacy tools to not be tracked. https://www.privacytools.io/private-browser
