Looks like node is leaning in the universal binary direction: nodejs/build#2474 (comment) |
Per nodejs/node#37309, there aren't plans to backport this support to 14.x, so we would be looking at 2021-04-20 at the 16.x LTS release. |

Blocked on the release of a darwin-aarch64 Node artifact
While not something we plan to put into the support matrix, we should provide a target for developers to download and run a build to run natively on ARM based Apple devices.
