Our index naming standard isn't particularly friendly for non-technical users. This issue pops up when we have users that want to use the discover tab and get stopped in their tracks just trying to decipher which index pattern to use.

We would like the ability to define a friendly name for an index pattern to display where relevant, at the moment that is on the Discover and Visualize pages, but in future the ingest pipeline and other plugins.

@mattkime just reiterating the last comment. You closed this ticket "in favor of #7305", but THIS ticket is 7305. This is a feature I would like to see in Kibana.

Upgrade EUI to v90.0.0 (#170179)

The majority of changes in this PR come from:

- **EuiContextMenu** being converted to Emotion
(elastic/eui#7312). If your usage of
`EuiContextMenu` was significantly affected, we recommend pulling down
this PR and QAing it locally.

- `defaultProps` being removed from some very widespread components,
particularly **EuiButton**, in anticipation of React's upcoming
deprecation.
