We currently have ignore_above set to 256 in the telemetry saved object mapping. 1024 is be a better value, as that is used in the apm-* template as well. The mapping will be updated to use 1024 and the saved object mapping should mirror this value, otherwise data will be lost when storing the telemetry in a saved object.
