In Kibana 5.5.1/5.5.2, and potentially earlier versions, if the client has network traffic to tiles.maps.elastic.co/catalogue.maps.elastic.co dropped, the render-counter attribute stays at 0 and doesn't increment. This causes issues with us detecting when rendering is complete.
