Release includes following new features and changes:

  • Some IMC fixes
  • Removed NMEA0183 because of packaging issues
  • Possible to manually set boat heading
  • Settings are visible in to ROV-field
  • Feedback when gamepad is connected
  • Two buttons down at the same time
  • Vibration feedback on mode switches
  • Add get-position button in DP mode
  • Use current depth in NF
  • Add header and footer fields with CRC to IMC messages

New release including:

  • Support for NMEA0183
  • Dynamic Positioning now uses current coordinates to set target
  • Support for header, footer and fixed length messages for IMC
  • Simplified control for switching between modes
  • Display settings and all messages sent and received to/from the simulator/ROV
  • Other small features and bugfixes

Update: This release does not work as the serialport-library included in it is incompatible with the packaging. This is fixed in future releases.

  • New design for the control window
  • Implementation of IMC message format (encoding and decoding the messages and send over TCP)
  • Created a Mockup for the ROV, this allow us to send IMC messages from ROV to GUI over TCP
  • Control the mode and parameters easily with xbox-controller
  • Dropdown menu for choosing Port, Message Protocol, Serial File and IP address
  • Styling for widgets in video window
  • Maximize, minimize and exit options in video window
  • Dynamic Positioning on minimap is visualized as a point of reference
  • Dynamic Positioning and Net Following availability is displayed in a widget in video window
  • Other minor features
