AssetRipper

AssetRipper is a tool for extracting assets from serialized files (CAB-*, *.assets, *.sharedAssets, etc.) and assets bundles (*.unity3d, *.bundle, etc.) and converting them into the native Unity engine format.

Development Status

At the time of writing, I am solely focused on my emigration to Germany. As a result:

  • Development progress will be almost nonexistant.
  • I have reduced my distractions, so my social presense will be frequently absent or reduced.

However, the project has not been abandoned:

  • I will still review and merge pull requests.
  • I will still post releases when appropriate.
  • I will still triage GitHub issues.
  • I will still post my own GitHub issues when appropriate.
  • I will still answer GitHub discussions.
  • I will still occasionally do "trivial" fixes and improvements.

This is temporary. Eventually, development speed will return to prior levels. I am hesitant to give a timeframe, but I expect this partial hiatus to last at least until the beginning of April.
