Version 1.1

This is the initial release of the CDMC Information Model, an ontology that draws on and combines related open frameworks and standards to describe the information required to support cloud data management. This provides a foundation for interoperability of data catalogs and automation of controls across cloud service and technology providers.

The CDMC Information Model has been created and will be maintained by the CDMC Information Model Working Group. This initial version has been validated by demonstrating its support of the CDMC Control Test Procedures. The “CDMC Information Model Controls Tests Mappings” document can be downloaded from the Council’s web site - edmcouncil.org.
