The OpenJ9 landing page points to a StackOverflow search for the OpenJ9 tag; however, when I tried to submit a question with the OpenJ9 tag, StackOverflow said that I need to have at least 1,500 reputation to create a new tag.

Heh, yeah that part of the landing page is, I suppose you could say, aspirational. We should modify the query so it searches for the text "openj9" rather than the tag of that name. Sorry for the confusion! I'll move this issue over to the website repository, where we're tracking the changes needed to the landing page.
