5.0 ~Q4-2020+

Changelog Release Plan

• Overall improved consistency
  • Released version will be the "5.0", not the "1.5.0". The first "1." was misleading as every year we are releasing a major version with one or several service releases, 1.4.1 can be called as 4.1)
  • Model file extension will be replaced by a capella one.
• Usability
  • More consistent views icons
  • Improved theme
  • Ease installation, compatible Java will be directly embedded into Capella
• Performance improvements
• Patterns will be removed (replaced in methodology with REC/RPL since several years)
• Java 11 compatibility
• Use of Eclipse Platform 2020-06
  • In addition to changes we contributed in Eclipse with theme contributions and fixes, there are quite other changes from Eclipse community (see related release notes : 4.16 - 4.15 - 4.14 - 4.13)
