dwyl case studies #274
Comments
Assigning to myself as I'll need to put together the bullet points of info for these. |
@bradreeder is also on the case! |
Thanks @iteles . Initial questions:
Will raise more questions if necessary when I have access to the notes for this. 👍 |
@bradreeder So many good questions!
|
@iteles Current thoughts: I like the minimalistic aesthetic of your website, in particular the landing page that reduces your core service down to a simple process. From a design perspective, I see the case studies as example narratives of that process: to help customers understand more what you do & have done, and hopefully to identify their needs within that narrative. My favourite case studies I've looked at so far are:
Both reduce their case studies down to a simple narrative and into as few steps as possible (goal - process - result or problem - solution - impact). I think this would fit your website design and help this be concise. Most of what's in your overview could be condensed down to three steps ("problem", "approach", "solution"), and extraneous information displayed around it. |
This is quite nice |
@JoeTanner FYI (as discussed) |
@JoeTanner FYI We have a first draft of a case study from April that is wirh @markwilliamfirth for review. |
@iteles really want to help out with these and definitely have the time.. |
@freelancedad the copy (in its current form) is here: dwyl/dwyl-site#280 |
@markwilliamfirth are you around tomorrow to chat about what needs to be actioned? |
@markwilliamfirth Is that reviewed copy? I don't know if you've settled on a format yet? |
@freelancedad in terms of google docs for editing: The case study website copy in its current form can be found here The version that was iterated upon by @bradreeder that is mentioned by @iteles here can be found here In terms of what needs to be actioned, we need some nicely written out case studies for biz dev and sales purposes - the details and format of which is outlined in the top comment here. If you have some cool ideas in terms of formatting it would be great to hear them. If you have any questions about the projects and case studies, it is best to ask @iteles as she managed the projects and knows all the details I will be in tomorrow if you have any questions, but please feel free to post questions in here as we like to keep things "open-source" 👍 |
Thank you @markwilliamfirth, I had a chat with Ines and once a structure has been defined, I would be more than happy to help out where I can. |
Hm, this shouldn't still be assigned to me. @markwilliamfirth As per #274 (comment) and the sharing of the case study over email chat, could you please let me know where this is at? |
@markwilliamfirth In April, you were emailed the first draft of a case study to review (of format, language, technique, etc) to see if it could form a good template, as per the emails exchanged and #274 (comment) That's the thing I am asking for an update on please. #274 (comment) |
Let's make this an epic and split it up! |
These two issues don't really need this epic - therefore closing the epic |
We have been asked by quite a few services clients to send them case studies of the work we have carried out to date.
We will need to create this content so that we can add them to our website as well. dwyl/dwyl-site#89
