Submitting a Use Case Request

The Digital Earth Africa Team can assist you in developing a use case. To do so, you will need to launch a request detailing your use case.

You will need to provide information on your use case, including descriptions of the

  • Aim
  • Study area
  • Scope
  • Input data
  • Expected outcomes and outputs

along with any additional information that may assist the team in developing this use case.

Launch a Request

To launch a use case request, you will need a GitHub account. You can sign up for free at https://github.com/join. If you already have an account, click Sign In in the top right of the menu and enter your account details.

From GitHub

  1. Navigate to the Digital Earth Africa Notebooks Repository
  2. Click the Issues tab
  3. Click the green New issue button on the right-hand side of the Issues page
  4. On the Use Case Request entry, click the green Get started button
  5. Add all available details for your use case under the appropriate headings. Guidance is provided under each heading. You may skip sections if you don't have the details available.
  6. When you have finished adding text, click the green Submit issue button at the bottom right-hand side of the page.
