Just as with VoiceCode, make the spoken syntax similar between programming languages as much as possible. A systematic way of doing this would be preferable to manual.

Wait until after the settings file overhaul to do this. There can be a section in the new settings file where the user can add the common commands and their translations into different languages.

This sort of thing might also be worth its own settings file.

nevermind, nothing major is gained by putting the mapping in a settings file, standardizing text files instead; same amount of maintenance is needed, but unnecessary complexity is averted
