In theory, we should be able to let events specify colors of things like links, maybe headers, etc, as well as the colors they would like to use for highlighting things like ignites, talks, etc in their program (once #498 has been merged).
My working theory for this is as follows:
Since we can create different file types in hugo 0.20, it could be something like if you set the color scheme options in your data file, it will create something like events/2017-ponyville/2017-ponyville.css which it will then embed in the <head> of your pages only.
