@schurzi we have here a blocker from spell checker for the code, which didn't change in this PR. Do you know any good way to avoid such blockers? I would make codespell happy in another PR for now

What you did is exactly right. Renovate automatically rebases on merges, so fixing thing in a separate PR and then wait for renovate to rebase is the best approach.

For thegeneral problem, we could run the codespell action on a schedule, so we will notice updates and new detected typos without someone tripping over it by accident in a PR.
