+      <p class="lead">As part of a comprehensive effort to reform and reinvent New York City’s approach to criminal justice and policing, the City of New York is launching an “Ending the Poverty to Prison Pipeline” initiative that addresses the recommendations surfaced in the <a href="https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/home/downloads/pdf/reports/2021/Final-Policing-Report.pdf">Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative draft plan</a>. Within this initiative, NYC Opportunity will be focused on developing solutions and furthering recommendations that connect low-income and justice-involved clients and their families to new or improved streamlined services and supports that center community needs, and prevent or reduce justice system contact.</p>

+            <li>Support the overall work of the Ending the Poverty to Prison Pipeline initiative, including  research, organizing learning network activities, managing outreach to City agency partners, data collection/analysis, and identifying evidence-based practices and promising models. </li>
+             <li>Work with NYC Opportunity program leads to support the oversight and management of programs, evaluations, and special projects in the NYC Opportunity and YMI portfolios; support work with City agencies, evaluation firms and other partner organizations to develop and implement project work plans and budgets, and to prepare internal and public-facing deliverables.</li>
+             <li>Work with NYC Opportunity program leads to ensure development of appropriate metrics and targets across the unit’s full portfolio; analyze performance data to monitor City agency progress in implementing programs and special projects; ensure data quality.</li>
+             <li>Capture input and feedback from stakeholders (affected people, advocates, agencies, etc.) to guide service delivery improvements and establish new practices which more consistently incorporate the voice and perspective of affected communities.</li>
+             <li>Assist with managing external evaluators in developing, implementing, and finalizing evaluations; coordinate and track the dissemination of evaluation findings to various constituencies, translating technical evaluation information to policymakers and other stakeholders.</li>
+             <li>Generate summary reports and develop written products on program operations, evaluations, and related topics. Support NYC Opportunity communications efforts with writing reports and articles, preparing public facing presentations, stories to highlight, draft releases, talking points and other materials.</li>
+             <li>Respond to rapid research requests and participate in the preparation of summary data reports, case studies, and research briefs on program operations, best practices, evidence-based policy, and related topics for senior leadership, NYC Opportunity staff and external partners.</li>
+             <li>Support the development of new programs and policy initiatives, and identify and pursue funding opportunities for the expansion of NYC Opportunity and YMI initiatives.</li>
+             <li>Develop and foster productive working partnerships with policymakers, government agencies and departments, and partner organizations.
