Epic

As a Hearing Coordinator I can find an eligible unscheduled Veteran and schedule them for a virtual hearing.

Background/context

Unscheduled Veterans can be scheduled for a virtual hearing: the Board has a separate "docket" for virtual hearings so they can realize the full benefits of virtual hearings not requiring physical space at the Board

Goals and user flow

Hearing Coordinators can

  • See a list of all Veterans eligible for virtual hearings [or, depending on LoE: see Veterans on existing scheduling pages who are eligible for virtual hearings?]
  • Schedule Veterans directly to virtual who:
    • Are already noted to have requested a virtual hearing in advance of their hearing
    • Have requested a virtual hearing upon scheduling
  • Virtual (and other mixed) hearing dockets can be filled with Veterans who have requested a virtual hearing

Non-goals

  • Create new virtual hearing dates through the Build Hearing schedule flow

Success criteria

As a Hearing Coordinator, I can schedule Veterans for a virtual hearing from the start of the scheduling process on a virtual hearing docket.
