No sound from windows when using ASIO.

can someone help me with this?

I have a Presonus audio interface for my guitar and I don't have monitor speakers so I use FlexASIO to get the sound from my Creative speakers.
But when I use apps that use the FlexASIO then I don't have sound from other like Youtube, Spotify , Audio player etc.

This sounds like you are using a FlexASIO config that specifies an exclusive backend (either WASAPI Exclusive or WDM-KS)? Can you share your config?

Exclusive backends are, well, exclusive. If you want sound from other apps at the same time then you need to use a shared backend, such as WASAPI Shared, DirectSound, or MME.

Well, yeah, you're using WDM-KS, so the behavior you're seeing is normal and expected - WDM-KS is an exclusive backend. You need to use a non-exclusive backend.

OK. I will try another backend and I will let you know. I thought that KS was the best backend, thats why I used KS.

There is no "best" backend. Every backend has tradeoffs, and in the case WDM-KS, one of the tradeoffs is that it is exclusive.

Just tested it with WASAPI and noticed latency/delay issues. And now I remember that when I installed FlexASIO for the first time, I tested all the backends and finally I chose KS instead of other backends for this reason.

Ok. Now I know that the KS backend is exclusive but I will compromise with that until I get monitor speaker. Problem solved. :)
