Granularlink.type Property

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
No real problem, just had a request for a nice-to-have feature. I want to render a graph such that some of the links are straight while others are curved.

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to have the config property link.type to be granular (as denoted by 🔎🔎🔎in the docs) the same way that some of the other link properties are granular (like link.color).

Describe your use case
I'm rendering a networking map, and would like my links to have different types depending on if they link a device with an access point, or if they link access points together.
