dRonin supports many different flight controller boards. Which one you choose depends on your model, the capabilities you want, and your budget. You can build a quadcopter or a plane for less than $60 using the most affordable boards, or you can spend $100 on the flight controller alone.
- AeroQuad32
- BrainFPV
- BrainFPV RE1 (no nav sensors on board)
- DTFAir DTFc (no nav sensors on board) Also Colibri Race / TBS PowerCube.
- DTFAir Seppuku
- Lumenier Lux (only V1, and no nav sensors are on board)
- OpenPilot Revolution (including many race-only variants)
- OmniBus F4 (Variants without SD card)
- PikoBLX clones
- Quantec Quanton
- Seriously Pro Racing F3 EVO (only the EVO variant) and clones
- Tau Labs Sparky
- Tau Labs Sparky2
- Team Black Sheep Colibri / Gemini hexcopter (supported by Quanton target)
If you want to build an FPV multicopter, the BrainFPV and Seppuku are probably the best choice, as there is an integrated OSD. If you don't require the integrated OSD, the OpenPilot Revolution is a great board. Of course, dRonin will work great on any of the supported STM32F4 boards.
