Mac OS X support #78

Even I am searching for php desktop for cross platform . |
Well it doesn't exist. |
All the third party libraries that phpdesktop uses, such as CEF and Mongoose, are cross-platform. In my personal opinion Linux port ain't that much useful - anyone running Linux already has computer skills so he can install web server and php himself and shouldn't have much problems running the php-based app when provided with just the www folder. A port for Mac would be nice though. Recently upstream CEF introduced (Aura) Views API that should make porting to Linux/Mac even easier, without needing to use any of GTK/Cocoa APIs. This project is still a single person development effort, none patches/pull requests sent so far. On a side note, there is a list of projects similar to phpdesktop compiled by me. Some of them may be cross-platform, but most of them are outdated. You can find it here: https://github.com/cztomczak/phpdesktop/wiki/Knowledge-Base#what-are-other-projects-similar-to-php-desktop |
