Current behavior:

  1. Have Firefox and Firefox Nightly installed
  2. Launch Firefox Nightly via cy open
  3. Close Cypress
  4. Relaunch Cypress
  5. Observe that Firefox non-Nightly is now the default choice

Desired behavior:

  1. Have Firefox and Firefox Nightly installed
  2. Launch Firefox Nightly via cy open
  3. Close Cypress
  4. Relaunch Cypress
  5. Observe that Firefox Nightly is now the default choice

The code for this is done in cypress-io/cypress#8284, but has yet to be released.
We'll update this issue and reference the changelog when it's released.
