A report summarizing the design can be found at docs/final_report/final_report.pdf
I designed this in my Junior year of by B.S., and as a result there's a few bad design decisions in here:
- Relying on JFET saturation physics would likely cause varying sine wave distortion over temperature and part variation. This isn't a problem for a small batch piece of lab equipment with little self-heating, but if you were to mass produce this, you'd want to have a 100% process screen for sine distortion (the cost of which is honestly probably low compared to the simplification the JFET sine shaper enables).
- I put a ground plane cutout along the trace connecting channel B to the summer - this would work better with no ground plane cut.
