Constitutional Amendments 2024
Summary of proposed amendments
Reasoning
Amendments A-E are to comply with Arc re-affiliation rules. The full reasoning for these amendments can be found here.
Amendment F: CSESoc CompClub is no longer an entity affiliated with CSESoc. CSESoc and CompClub formally split last year as CompClub established Arc affiliation.
Amendment G: To guarantee that a person on the Executive team ensures the Society complies with new self-review tax legislation for non-for-profits AND has the tools to do so (i.e. ABN and ABR authorisation), something that was found to be lost along the chain of Execs since 2018!
