Run weechat in a container.
Run the container using the default weechat configuration:
docker run --rm -it craighurley/docker-weechat
Run the container and mount a local directory:
docker run --rm -it -v ~/.weechat:/home/user/.weechat craighurley/docker-weechat
If you use SELinux, this works for me:
docker run --rm -it -u $(id -u):$(id -u) -v ~/.weechat:/home/user/.weechat:z craighurley/docker-weechat
If you want to use a pre-configured weechat, follow these steps:
-
Clone the weechat configuration repo:
git clone https://github.com/craighurley/weechat.git ~/.weechat
-
Follow the steps documented in the
README.md
file. -
Run the container and mount the weechat repo cloned in the previous steps (note the tip on SELinux above):
docker run --rm -it -v ~/.weechat:/home/user/.weechat craighurley/docker-weechat
